Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated September 2026. This policy explains how EZYFUELS LTD handles personal data collected through ezyfuels.ng, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and NITDA's guidance for data controllers.
1. What we collect
When you submit a form on this site, to sign up to order, apply as a partner, or contact investor relations, we collect the name, email address, and any other details you choose to provide (such as company name or depot location). We also use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that measures aggregate visits without cookies or personal data. We do not collect personal information through any other means on the site, and we do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
2. How we use it
We use submitted information solely to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to progress a signup, partnership, or investment conversation. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), the third-party service that relays contact-form submissions to our team's inbox. FormSubmit is operated outside Nigeria, so submitting a form involves a cross-border transfer of the details you enter. Do not include sensitive information in the message field.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of your consent when you submit a form, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), its Guidance and Implementation Directive, and the earlier Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) it builds on. Consent is specific to the form you submit and can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Your rights
Under the NDPA, you can request the following at any time by emailing info@ezyfuels.ng:
- Access to the personal data we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure of your data, where we are not required to keep it
- Restriction or objection to specific processing
- A copy of your data in a portable format
If you believe we have not handled a request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
5. Data protection contact
Send data protection queries and requests to info@ezyfuels.ng. We have not yet appointed a named data protection officer. Our registration with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) is in progress; we will publish the registration number here once it is issued.
6. Security measures
This site is served over HTTPS. Submitted data is handled by our contact-form processor and our team's mailbox; we do not store form submissions in a separate database. As the platform develops beyond this site, technical and organisational safeguards (access controls, encryption at rest, regular security review) will scale with the sensitivity and volume of data processed, and material security incidents are handled internally before being assessed for NDPC breach-notification obligations.
7. Software quality and testing
We use NITDA's National Software Testing Guideline as a reference for how we check this site before release: automated linting, type-checking, and build verification, plus accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), performance, and security-header checks. This site has not been through formal third-party testing, and we do not claim certification by a NITDA-licensed testing organisation.
8. Data retention
We retain inquiry data for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain a record of the conversation, and delete it on request unless we're required to keep it for legal or regulatory reasons.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to info@ezyfuels.ng.
